Tessa has created a unique and intriguing style of painting, exploring ideas of perspectives in nature, and trying to create the illusion of juxtaposing realistic elements. She has named this abstract signature style ‘Slat Painting’.
The process of this method is to ‘paint, slice and re-create’. When the painting is complete, she slices it up. Tessa then uses linking lines and various viewpoints to re-construct the puzzle back into an abstract, fragmented composition.
